Harmonie State Park has two horse trails that show off many of the best features of the park, winding through hills, ravines and Wabash river bottomland.
The Wabash Horse Trail, just to the right after coming through the main gate, is 3.5 miles along a series of old oil roads that meander through the river bottomland.
The 4.5 mile long horse trail at the Locust Knoll picnic area winds through both old and new growth forest and crosses a scenic cree, A Pioneer cemetery with two stones, one for each of the two wives of early Posey County settler Henry Edmunds, is just off the trail.
