Harmonie State Park offers several great fishing options. One can fish in several ponds near the campground or off the banks of the scenic Wabash River, where a boat launch ramp is also available.
The ponds are stocked with catfish, bluegill and bass. Anyone can fish there, but you have to have your license, except for periodic free fishing days which you can find out about by checking the Indiana Department of Natural Resources website. The park loans out Huck Finn type cane poles, but you have to bring your own bait and any other fishing necessity.
