Figuring Out the Human Form

Students can experience sculpting in clay from a live model in this one-day studio course. Class will consist of demonstrations of building techniques coupled with an introductory anatomical study. Explore figure proportion, human expression and body gesture. There will be class discussions on surface treatment for sculpture, including “cold finishing techniques” in to complete your sculpture.
