Entrances: The Bella Golden Story

October 13, 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

“Entrances: The Bella Golden Story” is a film version of a one woman, biographical play written and performed by Karen Nelson Moser. It is based on the diaries of performer Bella Golden, who was the lead actress of a professional theater company that operated out of New Harmony in the late 19th century.

The one hour film includes excerpts from various plays in which Bella performed, anecdotes from her long life in the theater, and is accompanied by a backdrop of archival photographs.

The film’s author and performer, Karen Nelson Moser, is originally from Evansville and will be on-hand for a question & answer session after the show.
