“Let’s play!”
Children, ages 7-13, will learn the FUN-damentals of clay in this two-day summer class while exploring color, shape and texture to create sculptural and functional pieces. Students will explore rolling a coil, pressing slabs and decorating their ceramic creations using glazes.
Students will enjoy a snack break near the Roofless Church, adjacent to the NH Clay Studio. Parents are asked to pack a small snack for your child, and NHCP will provide bottled water. We will glaze and fire finished projects that will be available for pick-up after the class ends.*

*Please allow for firing and glazing of the work; pieces will be ready and available three weeks after your class date. We will store the pieces for a maximum of 3 months after the workshop unless other arrangements have been made.
