Harmonie State Park has an enormous pool for kids of all ages. Young kids can splash around in the baby pool, while the older ones can fly down the water slide or show off their tricks on the diving boards. If you need a break from the sun, there is a giant cabana for relaxation. After a fun afternoon of swimming, visitors can have a picnic while watching the sunset on the Wabash River.
About 10 miles down the road you will find Riverbend Park on the Mount Vernon River Front. The shooting water jets and playground are a summer hot spot. If that’s not enough, right across the street, you will find some of the BEST ice cream in Posey County at Bliss Artisan.
