From New Harmony to the Holy Land: The Story of Rosamond Dale Owen Oliphant Templeton, “Formerly Owner of Armageddon”

This two-day symposium highlights the early life of New Harmony native Rosamond Dale Owen, her fascinating archaeological legacy in Israel, and the prehistory of New Harmony as revealed in recent excavations. Speakers include Patricia Sides (Willard Library), Michael Strezewski (USI), Jennie Ebeling (UE), Eric Cline (George Washington University), Norma Franklin (University of Haifa, Israel) and Ian Cipin (University College London). All events are free and open to the public.
