Women’s Institute and Gallery

The Women's Institute and GalleryWomen’s Institute and Gallery owner and curator Lena Feiner was lured to New Harmony by its impressive history, especially its place as an early pioneer in women’s suffrage.

“As I came to know its history,” she says, “I realized New Harmony was an ideal place for a business that emphasizes women’s rights.”

2015 was its 15th year of operation and included the gallery’s 81st exhibit.  It also  offers occasional poetry and literary events, and Lena leads a Jungian studies circle.

The Gallery includes a very nice, eclectic gift shop.

Located in a scenic residential area on the north side of town, it’s well worth adding a visit to the Women’s Institute and Gallery to your itinerary.
