World Labyrinth Day

World Labyrinth Day is an annual event sponsored by The Labyrinth Society as a worldwide action to “walk as one at 1” local time to create a rolling wave of peaceful energy across the globe. Every year on the first Saturday in May thousands of people around the world participate in this moving meditation for world peace and celebration of the labyrinth experience.
New Harmony has two public labyrinths: the Harmonist Labyrinth, constructed from hedges on South Main Street and the Cathedral Labyrinth on North Street. Labyrinth volunteers will be hosting a walk at 1:00pm on World Labyrinth Day at the Cathedral Labyrinth. Join us!
There are many ways to participate in World Labyrinth Day:
- Walk a labyrinth at 1:00 p.m. local time to help create a rolling wave of peace passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.
- Walk alone or with others observing all applicable health protocols.
- Build a permanent or temporary labyrinth.
- Use a finger labyrinth.
- Create labyrinth art.
